About Njemile Carol Jones
I offer Fertility Enhancing treatment to both women and men at acupuncture clinics in Alexandria, Virginia, Rockville, Maryland and in Gaithersburg.
Traditional Chinese Medicine is designed to address a root level imbalance. We don't try to "fix" a problem. We help your body, mind and spirit arrive at a place of balance and harmony, creating a supportive, healthy environment for conception to occur. Several studies reveal how much regular acupuncture treatments support your efforts to conceive. Acupuncture and other TCM modalities promote hormonal balance, encourage healthy circulation in the reproductive system, and promotes the development of healthy eggs and sperm.
Some of the women and men I treat are undergoing IVF and other assisted reproductive techniques. Others are trying to conceive naturally. I offer acupuncture, Chinese herbal therapies, as well as dietary and lifestyle guidance. The treatments also help relieve stress and anxiety often associated with the process of trying to conceive a child. Your session may include guided meditations and/or visualization. I also suggest techniques that you can do at home to nurture your fertility. I am constantly amazed and gratified at the results. Several fertility clinics in the area recommend their patients. I am a charter member of The Fertile Soul's Clinical Excellence in Fertility Program founded by Dr. Randine Lewis, author of The Infertility Cure and The Way of the Fertile Soul, and the creator of Fertile Soul Retreats.
I also treat women at various stages of pregnancy. Many of my clients continue to come in for treatment after they conceive. In the first and second trimesters, acupuncture helps relieve nausea and vomiting, fatigue, and other symptoms. Women who've experienced miscarriages in the past often benefit from regular acupuncture treatments, especially in the first trimester. During the third trimester, acupuncture helps prepare mothers for labor and delivery.
I also treat a wide variety of other gynecological conditions including menstrual irregularities, perimenopausal signs and symptoms, and complications from uterine fibroids.
